Once railway wagons. Now somewhere to pause.
Across twenty months, these 1920s wagons were carefully brought back to life with local timber, wool insulation and heritage colours. Their history is still there in the ironwork. Their next chapter belongs to the people who come to stay.
Here on our Welsh sheep farm, Natalia welcomes you to a corner of the world that moves at its own pace.
Private river access is a five-minute walk from the huts, crossing the main road on the way.
Dams, reservoirs and wonderfully wide horizons. A day out worth taking slowly.

Just a few helpful things to know before you arrive, so once you’re here, you can simply slow down and enjoy the magic.
Ask your hostCheck-in is from 4pm onwards, giving us time to prepare everything beautifully for your arrival. If you’d like to arrive a little earlier, let Natalia know before your stay and we’ll do our best to make it possible. Please check out before 10am.
Our huts are made for two, making them a cosy and romantic escape for couples. They’re equally lovely for solo travellers and adventurers looking for a little time away from it all. Babies in arms are welcome, provided you bring your own travel cot. The huts are small and cosy, so we’re unable to accommodate additional children.
We’re afraid our huts aren’t suitable for dogs. We’re a working sheep farm with livestock roaming the surrounding fields, and the open landscape has no securely fenced areas for dogs. The huts are cosy spaces designed for two-legged guests. This helps keep both your pets and our livestock safe, while ensuring everyone can enjoy the surroundings.
We’ve thought carefully about the little things that make a stay comfortable, while keeping the character and charm of our historic wagons.
Everything you need for a comfortable stay is here – leaving you free to slow down, explore, relax and enjoy the countryside.
Yes. Each hut has its own clearly marked private parking space on site, approximately 50 metres from the hut. There is a roundabout nearby to make turning around easy. A wheelbarrow is provided for luggage, with luggage drop-off available by prior arrangement.
Yes. Strong Wi-Fi is available at both huts. The Wi-Fi code is displayed clearly on the Deco Pod, so it’s easy to find when you arrive.
Juniper and Seren are approximately 50 metres apart, carefully positioned to give each hut privacy and seclusion. The natural contours of the land, large boulders and thoughtfully planted areas mean guests cannot see the other hut from their own.
Yes. The firepit is available throughout the year, subject to temporary restrictions during periods of exceptionally high fire risk. We provide logs, kindling and everything you need to get the fire going, along with a hot plate/griddle for outdoor cooking. Enjoy supper beneath the stars or simply sit back with the warmth and the view.
The outdoor bath is available during spring, summer and autumn, and for part of the winter depending on weather conditions. Hot water comes from the gas boiler. Our open landscape is particularly prone to frost. When freezing conditions are expected, we turn off the bath’s water supply to protect the plumbing, original antique taps and fittings. Some original fittings are extremely difficult, if not impossible, to replace, so we take great care to preserve them.
Yes. We have private access to the River Wye, approximately a five-minute walk from the huts. The route crosses the main road, where visibility is good, before continuing down to the river. Guests have spotted kingfishers, mandarin ducks, herons, deer, badgers and even an otter, as well as fish leaping from the water. Wild swimming is possible when conditions are suitable, and guests have also enjoyed paddleboarding. Water levels and access vary with the season and weather; discuss current conditions with Natalia before entering the water.
Choose your wagon and dates, review your price, and send a booking request. Natalia reviews the enquiry and personally confirms availability, payment arrangements and cancellation terms. Submitting a request does not reserve the dates, and no payment is taken on this website.
These are self-catering stays. Dining and breakfast photographs show the setting; they do not promise a catered meal or breakfast service. Bring ingredients or discuss any additional arrangements with Natalia.
Ask Natalia for the cancellation terms before confirming or paying. The wagons have steps, outdoor paths and compact interiors; contact her to discuss mobility requirements so you can decide whether the stay is suitable.

Two wagons. A warm welcome. A little more Wales.
